The network
The HaHoNa was founded in January 2015. It systematically fosters exchange between Hamburg universities and helps them implement joint sustainability development projects.
The HaHoNa sees itself as an open, informal platform for collaboration between all of Hamburg’s universities to strengthen the following areas:
- peer learning in sustainability research, implementation, and transfer;
- firmly establishing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD);
- tapping potential of scientific contributions to reach the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); and
- fostering inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation to implement sustainability-related measures.
